Assistant Principal - Jeanine Wulfenstein
It is a pleasure to be part of the Golden Bear family and serve the Temecula Valley High School community as an Assistant Principal. I have been active in education for the past 23 years. During that time, I worked as a science and STEM teacher at Gardner Middle School and as an Assistant Principal at Bella Vista Middle School, as well as an Assistant Principal at Temecula Middle School. I have resided in various parts of California and have also taught at Wells Middle School in Dublin, California and Oak Middle School in Los Alamitos, California.
I hold a doctorate in organizational leadership from Brandman University, a M.A. in Curriculum and instruction from California State University, East Bay and a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2013, I received the honor of being recognized as the TVUSD Middle School Teacher of the Year. Outside of our local community, I have been involved at the state level and was appointed by the California State Board of Education to serve on the Science Curriculum and Framework Committee in Sacramento, as well as the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. I enjoy working to serve students and families in our local community, as well as across our state, to ensure a guaranteed rigorous curriculum and positive learning experience for all students.
I am also an active member of the Temecula community. I have 4 children and love being a parent. As a parent, I understand the importance of ensuring that school is a place where students explore their individuality, love learning, develop positive relationships with peers and staff, feel connected, and ultimately achieve their full potential. Temecula Valley High School is exactly this type of environment! When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My hobbies include going to the beach, swimming, reading, cycling, pilates, gardening, attending sporting events, and hiking.
I am looking forward to getting to know you this year. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that may arise. I’m looking forward to a great year!
Thank you for your support!
Go Bears!
Sincerely,
Jeanine Wulfenstein, Ed.D.
