2016 Founders Day Recipient
CONGRATULATIONS 2016 FOUNDERS DAY RECIPIENT
The Temecula Valley High School PTSA would like to present our Activities
Director Eric Burlingham as our Founders Day nominee. Mr. Burlingham
has embraced the traditions and values of Temecula Valley High while
helping to reignite and refine our school culture. He has continued to set
the tone and ignite school spirit. His support of PTSA sponsored events has
helped our program to thrive. Mr. Burlingham has organized rallies at our
feeder elementary and middle schools to build up excitement
for students as they prepare to start high school. Temecula Valley High
School PTSA has benefitted from this overall sense of school pride by the
noticeable increase in PTSA memberships that are held by students. We
can attribute this overall school spirit our students now have to
Mr. Burlingham and his mission to increase student involvement. Mr.
Burlingham is who we all want to be at Temecula Valley High. He brings his
passion for students to work everyday. When it comes to kids he doesn’t
walk or run - he literally sprints to make sure events happen and that
students are celebrated. Temecula Valley High School is honored to
have Mr. Burlingham as our Founders Day recipient.

WAYS AND MEANS CHAIRPERSON NEEDED
Dear PTSA Members and Volunteers,
For the past two years, PTSA has hosted the Golden Bear Bazaar in the Temecula Valley High School gym, where local artisans can sell their goods. It is a wonderful opportunity for the crafting community as well as for families wanting to do some holiday shopping. The proceeds from the booth rentals benefit TVHS PTSA programs and ultimately all of the students at our school.
We are in need of a Ways and Means chairperson or co-chairperson to head up the Bazaar for the 2016-2017 school year. Preferably, we would like someone who has some experience in the crafting world and knows the ins and outs of how craft fairs work. It is not imperative that they have managed a craft fair before, but having some knowledge of craft fairs is helpful. The PTSA board as well as our many volunteers will be available to provide help in running the Bazaar, but we need somebody to be the chairperson or co-chairperson to manage it all.
If you are interested in this job or know of somebody who is, please let us know as soon as possible by sending us an email at mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org.

TVHS PTSA Congratulates Principal Williams as 2015 Founders Day Honoree
TVHS PTSA is honored to name Mr. Allen Williams, principal of Temecula Valley High School, as our PTA Founder’s Day Award Honoree. He embodies and demonstrates the PTSA mission and values daily while serving as the principal of TVHS.
Within the first few minutes of meeting and speaking with Mr. Williams, one gets the feeling his “Hi, how are you?” is truly genuine! He takes the time to listen, understand, troubleshoot, lead and advocate for students, parents and staff. Our principal is not only an effective leader and positive role model on campus but an upstanding citizen of our community he now calls his home.
Mr. Williams goes above and beyond to support TVHS PTSA. He attends all meetings, has valuable input and listens respectfully to our parents and student representatives. When the need arises, he never hesitates to take action and address our concerns. His positive energy is greatly appreciated and we are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful ally in our corner!
When Mr. Williams arrived in Temecula almost 2 years ago, he hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped! He is a principal, mentor, friend, husband, father and man of honor that continues to work diligently for the betterment of TVHS. Supporting all programs sponsored by PTSA has allowed our board to accomplish things we wouldn’t have been able to without his support. We held our first ever PTSA Craft Bazaar this past fall; which he supported and attended; he was even spotted chatting with our mayor, Maryann Edwards while she shopped! TVHS PTSA’s “Coffee With the Principal” has proven to be a successful way of reaching out to our parents and keeping them connected and informed on the many exciting things happening on our campus.
Mr. Williams, is truly dedicated to promoting the well-being and educational success through parent, teacher and student involvement.
TVHS PTSA THANKS NOTHING BUNDT CAKES FOR THEIR GENEROUS DONATIONS TO THIS YEAR'S FOUNDERS DAY PROGRAM.
