NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS Senior FinalsSenior Finals will be on Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24. Thursday, May 23 finals for periods 1 - 3 - 5 will be given. Friday, May 24 finals for periods 2 - 4 - 6 will be given. There is NO separate bell schedule for the seniors. We will be following the regular bell scheule. Seniors are expected to come to school as usual and attend all scheduled classes. 9-11 graders will be on regular schedule and attending classes as usual. The bell schedule for both days is: Period 1 7:30 - 8:23 Period 2 8:29 - 9:22 Period 3 9:28 - 10:21 Break 10:21 - 10:29 Advisement 10:35 - 11:03 Period 4 11:09 - 12:02 Period 5 12:08 - 1:01 Lunch 1:01 - 1:31 Period 6 1:37 - 2:30 AP EXAMSStudents taking an AM Exam please meet at the Varsity Softball Field at 7:15 am. A campus supervisor will escort everyone to the church. Students taking a PM Exam will meet at the lunch tables outside the Hungry Bear at 11:00 am. You will have a 20 minute lunch break and then escorted to the church at 11:20 am. Students must bring their student ID and receipt. Summer School Enrichment Classes sponsored by TVFEESUMMER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES SPONSORED BY TVFEE The Temecula Valley Foundation for Excellence in Education (TVFEE) is sponsoring Summer School Enrichment Classes for students who wish to accelerate credits earned or prepare for classes before the start of the 2013-14 school year. Courses, prep classes, fees, and locations (CHS or GOHS) vary. For a list of classes – including one just for current 11th graders who plan to attend a four-year college and would like to get a jump-start on senior year and college planning – please visit the TVFEE website, or go directly to our Accelerated Summer School link. Deadline to register is June 3; no refunds after June 7. San Marcos Summer Writing ProgramChaparral High School and Temecula Valley Unified School District are looking forward to hosting the third annual San Marcos Writing Project High School Writers’ Camp, and I would like to personally invite your child to attend! This opportunity offers to be fun, rewarding, and enlightening! We are excited to offer a writing camp that has been tailored to meet the needs of different types of writers. This camp will be held July 29-August 2, Monday-Friday, from 9:30-2:30 at Chaparral High School and is open to all students in the Temecula Valley Unified School District entering 9th grade through 12th grade. In addition, we are working on bringing professional writers and college instructors to the camp, and Chaparral High School graduates currently attending college will share their experiences with college writing. End of Year InformationThe TVHS Class of 2013 will graduate on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Graduation is at 5:00pm in the TVHS Stadium. Everyone must have a ticket to enter the stadium. The last day of school for grades 9-11 is Thursday, June 6, 2013. Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 are modified days for finals. School is dismissed at 12:22.
